Lent 2025: Praying the Psalms

Lent is an important part of the year as it is a time when we are invited to reflect on our lives and devote ourselves again to follow Jesus. We encourage you to ask God what he wants you to lay down for the 40 days.

We have spent the couple of months looking at what it means to be Living in the Psalms - a people who are ‘like trees planted by streams of water,’ who delight in God’s truth and way of life. We sense this Lent is an opportunity to dive deeper in the richness of the Psalms and the compassionate, faithful and loving God they sing of.

So, as a church family we are going to also pray the psalms together, every Wednesday.

Morning: Join us in person at Morning Prayer at 7.15am at Church.

Noon: Pray the Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer scattered across the city.

Night: At Encounter on Wednesday 12th March, Wednesday 9th April at 7.30pm at Church.
