YOUTH WORKER

Do you have a passion to see young people come to and grow in their faith in Jesus? Are you passionate about seeing the church reach out to young people in the local community? Then we'd love you to consider applying to become our Youth Worker.

This role is for someone who is can lead, enable and seek out new opportunities for young people to experience belonging and transformation in Jesus and in our local church. It will build on recently launched Youth Space Tuesdays (after-school drop-in) and Youth Space Sundays (discipleship group). We have strong relationship with other local churches with potential for joint missional outreach and are forming connections with local secondary schools.

Lady Bay Church is a now-flourishing church which welcomed a church ‘graft’ three years ago. Since then we have seen the church grow in depth and number, and seen people come to faith in Christ. We are committed to be a church family that grows together as followers of Jesus and “to be a generous presence at the heart of Lady Bay” and beyond.

35 hours per week (including Sunday, with two non-working days) / £26,250 / Fixed Term contract - 3 years. (Open to a candidate starting with fewer hours and working up full time)
